Home Business from Okay to Wow

Take Your Home Business from Okay to Wow

So your home business is started, it is ticking along but something is not right!
It could be it is not growing fast enough or it is costing you more money than you realised it would. It could be you are tackling the wrong tasks each day. You have gone through what I call the Honeymoon Period where the excitement of tackling something new is over.
Now you need to go from mediocre to amazing...
How?

Your business needs daily nurturing.

Get out your planner with your business strategic plan or goals that you have already recorded in it . I know for some this sounds too boring or too much effort. Honestly; this is the Powerful Tool that will  help you focus on your business. So no excuses just do it! No Pain No Gain.

Everyday you make a task list in the morning (or even start the night before), of what needs to be done for that day. Decide from your list for the current month what is important now and record those down to be done in a set fashion. Plan what can be done today.

Now check over your days list and highlight what are the important tasks. Only highlight six tasks at a time.

Record down any calls, appointments, discussions you may have had over the phone or email, even your thoughts as the day progresses. These need to be honest notes. These do not need to be long winded, or too detailed though, just jot down some notes as you go so you can recall events later.

At the end of your day look over your task list. Mark of your main lists what you have done. Be pleased with what you have achieved in your day.

Any tasks not completed go on to tomorrows list.

Read over your notes and consider what you said, did and actions taken. You will notice things you did well and  things to be improved.

You main lists are living documents so everyday go over them by altering lists. Visualise these items being done actioned.

This action list is a powerful way to improve your business results. Everyday building on your successes. Often just by making yourself aware of the actions you have done or not, you will be conscious to make an improvement next time. Ask yourself questions such as; what mistakes did I make, how could I have improved my performance and what did I learn?

If this is a new idea for you then you will be amazed at your progress after a few weeks of implementing this tactic. Now you know how to move your home business from just okay-to-wow. So get going.
